Asbestos fabric is a special fabric made from asbestos threads woven on a loom and binding fibers made of viscose, cotton or lavsan. Typically the fiber percentage is 5-18%. Among other things, fiber also determines the storage period. If it is made of viscose or cotton, the guaranteed shelf life is 5 years from the date of production. If we are talking about polyester (lavsan) fiber, then 10 years. Suppliers provide asbestos sheets in rolls, the weight of which, according to recommendations, should not exceed 80 kg
